My name is Karin.
In 1999 I went to Florence on a language course and it was love at first sight. Since then, Italy and the Italian language have been a big part of my life.
I am a licensed high school teacher in Italian and have also taught Italian courses for adults.I have several years of experience in language teaching. I have dedicated moore than 20 years to the Italian language and contemporanean Italian culture.
I have studied Italian and French at the University of Växjö and the University of Lund in Sweden. Whithin the ERASMUS+ exchange program I studied Italian at the Univerisità degli studi di Parma.
Languages have been an important part of my life, growing up with a Swedish mother and a Polish-Austrian father. Every summer we went on holiday to Europe and the music that we listened to in the car was mostly in French and Italian. I will always remember when we went to Switzerland and visited the UN office in Geneva, where my father used to work back in the days. Observing people from all over the world and hearing them speak in different languages hade a huge impact on me. I guess that was the time when my passion for different cultures and languages really kicked in.

We offer courses in Italian as a second language at all CEFR-levels.
We also offer homework assistance in French and English to students in compulsary school and in Upper Secondary School.

BEGINNERS’ LEVEL IN ITALIAN
The basics of Italian, you will learn how to put together a sentence. We look att different types of greetings. You will learn how to order in a restaurant and ask the way to your hotel in Italian.
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL IN ITALIAN
We add some irregular verbs and new words so that you can write and comunicate in Italian and understand the answer or the question you get in Italian.
ADVANCED LEVEL IN ITALIAN
We add some special sentences and new words in Italian so that you will have more nuances in your language.
HOMEWORK ASSISTANCE IN FRENCH
